Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology is one of the premier educational institute in India.Formerly it was an REC or Regional Engineering College but now it has been upgraded to Deemed university.It is one of the NIT's in India.

The institute has been named after the great scholar, educationist and the first education Minister of Govt. of India, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. The Govt. of India and Govt. of Madhya Pradesh jointly sponsored the Institute in 1960 to attract bright young students from across the country.

It offers both UG and PG courses in various departments.It has also started an MBA course.It takes students through entrance exams.It has an excellent placement record.

Robert Nesta Marley was born on the 6th of February 1945 in the Saint Ann Parish of Jamaica. His father Norval Sinclair Marley was a white man in his 50s and his mother Cedella Booker was a black woman who was 18 years old. Due to this, he suffered a lot of racial prejudice in his childhood. Bob Marley was ten years old when his father died. Marley and his mother moved to Kingston’s Trenchtown slum after Norval’s death.

In 1962, Bob recorded his first two singles called ‘Judge Not’ and ‘One Cup of Coffee’ with Leslie Kong under the pseudonym Bobby Martell. Later on he and Leslie split up due to money issues. In 1963 Bob Marley, Bunny Livingstone and Peter Tosh and others joined together to form a band. They initially called themselves ‘The Teenagers’ but later on changed the names several times, finally settling themselves on the name ‘The Wailers’.


In 1975 Bob Marley had his first international hit ‘No Woman, No Cry’. After this he released his album ‘Rastaman Vibration’ in 1976 which became a Billboard chart topper for four weeks. He recorded his next two albums ‘Exodus’ and ‘Kaya’ which included the hit songs ‘Exodus’, ‘Waiting in Vain’, ‘Jamming’ and ‘One Love’. ‘Exodus’ stayed on the British music charts for 56 consecutive weeks.

Bob Marley died on the 11th of May, 1981 at Cedars of Lebanon Hospital in Miami, Florida. He was 36.

Linkin Park

Linkin Park's origin began in 1996 with rapper guitarist Brad Delson and Mike Shinoda with band called Xero. Other members of the band were Mark Wakefield the vocalist, Joseph Hahn the DJ, Rob Bourdon the drummer,and "Phoenix" Farrell the bassist. Brad Delson and emcee/vocalist Mike Shinoda attended the same high school together,where Delson also met the band's drummer, Rob Bourdon. Shinoda then hooked up with DJ Joseph Hahn while studying painting at the Pasadena Art Center. Xero made a four track demo tape including: Fuse, Stick N' Move, Rhinestone, and Reading My Eyes.
Mark left the band before they were called "Hybrid Theory" because things didn't work out,but he has always been a really good friend of theirs.

Their road to success started with their breakthrough album-HYBRID THEORY(october 24,2000),whose tracks like "crawling" and "one step closer"
established themselves as favourites among alternate rock.Its tracks were also included in movies such as Dracula 2000,little Nicky and Valentine.

In March of 2003, LP released their 2nd year album, Meteora. The first single "Somewhere I Belong" was an instant hit.
Linkin Park has won numerous awards including an award at the VMAs. Their popularity has grown world-wide.
